AP BIOLOGY PRINTABLE STUDY GUIDE

The AP Biology PDF is coming soon.

We are building a complete printable guide around all eight AP Biology units, data and experimental reasoning, and the current hybrid exam’s multiple-choice and handwritten free-response work. It is not available for purchase or download yet.

WHAT THE GUIDE IS BEING BUILT TO DO

A Biology guide organized around evidence and mechanism.

AP Biology is not eight independent vocabulary chapters. Questions connect molecular structure to cell behavior, energy transformations to data, gene regulation to phenotype, and heritable variation to population change. The finished PDF is being designed to help students trace those relationships and use them with experiments, graphs, models, calculations, and free-response command verbs.

“Coming soon” is a status, not a promised date. AP Study Lab will not open purchasing or claim the download is ready until the finished file, content review, protected delivery, and matching account access have been approved and verified.

PLANNED COVERAGE

What the finished AP Biology guide is intended to include

The final contents may be refined during review, but the guide is being built around these AP Biology-specific needs.

01

Eight-unit review

A printable path through Chemistry of Life, Cells, Cellular Energetics, Cell Communication and Cell Cycle, Heredity, Gene Expression and Regulation, Natural Selection, and Ecology.

02

Experiments and evidence

Practice identifying variables and controls, describing data, evaluating results, and keeping a biological claim within what an experiment actually measured.

03

Math, graphs, and models

Worked support for rates, proportions, probability, statistical evidence, graph construction, visual models, and the explanation that should follow a calculation.

04

Six FRQ task types

Preparation for the two long experimental-results questions—including graphing—and the four short scientific-investigation, conceptual, model, and data-analysis questions.

05

Focused review tools

Retrieval prompts, mechanism maps, error checks, and final-review routines that connect one missed question to the next useful study action.

AVAILABLE NOW · FREE

You can begin the exam-specific work now.

Use the current AP Study Lab resources to review all eight units, practice data and graph reasoning, understand the hybrid exam, and improve free-response decisions.

Course alignment last checked September 21, 2026. Planned coverage is based on the current College Board AP Biology course page and exam description. AP Study Lab is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board.
